The Wild Atlantic Way

The Wild Atlantic Way is a major new tourism initiative for the western seaboard. This long distance touring route stretches a total length of 2,500km and showcases Ireland’s magnificent Atlantic coastline. The Wild Atlantic Way will be Ireland’s first long-distance driving route, stretching from the Inishowen Peninsula in Donegal to Kinsale in County Cork and offering future visitors an opportunity to truly discover the west coast, including County Sligo. Mullaghmore is one of the Signature Discovery Points.
